Setting Goals, Think More or Less

Wednesday 9 June 2010

When first starting a new regime or when going through a health conscious phase, setting goals are a great place to begin. The government have set recommended daily allowances for certain foods and have placed physical activity targets which may sound a bit like 30 minutes, 5 times a week at moderate intensity. This is a great incentive set forward by the big boys, but here at Bespoke Fitness we believe in the tailored approach to setting goals.

Outdoor Circuits are up and running!!

Tuesday 1 June 2010

Just starting the second full week of circuits and already we are seeing good turn outs and welcoming plenty of new faces. As it is now half term I know it is hard to get yourself motivated to exercise. Possibly because you have to find things for your kids to do or if you’re lucky enough to get this week off yourself, I’m sure the X-box and Nintendo Wii seem appealing. How about seeing this time as a good stepping stone towards finding a routine and structure to you exercise.

Boot Camp starting next week!!

Monday 10 May 2010

Boot camp starting next Wednesday (19th)!!! A massive hello to all, and an apology about the lack of bogging in recent months. It’s been an exciting time for me as I ran the first ever Brighton marathon which was so exciting and inspiring seeing so many others out their both running and cheering. Also I have finally finished my degree and today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Power up to get out of your plateau.

Mix up the type of training you do for maximum results. It’s always a fantastic idea to do things you enjoy when trying to get fit. For example, if you’re like me and enjoy the fresh outdoors, then going for a run or getting the bike out for a blast over the downs is what works and keeps me interested.

That’s the past, now have a blast.

The thought of change may bring apprehension and make you feel unsettled, but try to see the positives of what great things may come from it. Also, think back to the amazing times you have had, and how content and fulfilled that made you feel. Hopefully this will give you the drive to do your best to or make your new environment or situation just as special.
