That’s the past, now have a blast.

Wednesday 9 September 2009

There has been a bit of a dry spell on this ‘blogging’ front recently and for that I’m sorry. However, get yourself ready for the best read of your life; this one will put a smile on your face.

The last few weeks have been packed full of hellos, goodbyes and have been a bit of an upheaval for me. My circuit class has now ended its daily classes, although I’m hoping to hold weekend sessions. I moved house for my final year at university (I’m not scared honest), and the best summer I can remember is now over.

I know I said I would put a smile on your face and I’m getting to it. The thought of change may bring apprehension and make you feel unsettled, but try to see the positives of what great things may come from it. Also, think back to the amazing times you have had, and how content and fulfilled that made you feel. Hopefully this will give you the drive to do your best to or make your new environment or situation just as special.

Take change as an opportunity to become who you’ve always wanted to be, try taking time to re-contemplate your life, exercise and even work goals. Think of how far you have already come, take a big jump forward and imagine what could be. It is always good to both write you goals down and talk to those who care or who may help you make them happen. Remember, looking into the past can be a good idea, as long as it drives, motivates, inspires or scares you towards a fantastic future.

I need to mention just how amazing setting up the circuit class has been for me. Meeting over 40 new faces and hearing their stories of happiness and woe has given me so much inspiration and drive to do well at university, and come out the other side ready to take you all on again next summer.

Two quick updates from previous ‘blogs’ to show how pleased I am of these people, and to show that outdoor circuit fun does work. Check this out, Julie, the spontaneous singing grass kissing woman I talked about working towards 50 press ups, just did 100. Also Grannie, I hope you don’t mind me saying, lost half a stone very sensibly and is looking even more smiley if that’s possible.

I know that there are plenty of great success stories from this summer’s circuits, make sure you don’t stop now or lose focus. I WILL be back very soon.

Thank you.
