Try this great brakfast ingredient and put your abs first.
Flax to the max for breakfast
Flax seed or linseed has been around for a while, I firmly believe in it's value and use it regularly. The problem is, it used to be only available as a seed and not very practical to eat, as you would have to grind it up then sprinkle it on toast or cereal.
Now, it is available as a cereal and below you will see more details and what Flax can do for you.
Nutrition:
Packed with Omega3
High levels of fibre, great for weight loss
Source of manganese and magnesium
Also a good source of copper, phosphorous, iron, zinc, selenium and calcium.
Vits: B6, B3, B2
All in all it is a great little seed, you can now buy as a cereal in most large supermarkets, generally within the organic section which contains Flax, Quinoa and Amaranth.
It truly is tasty and unlike many healthy type cereals it doesn't taste of cardboard, combine this with a healthy fruit juice and some fruit for a fantastic start to the day.
Enjoy.
Abs first & fat burn
One of the major problems with a lot of workouts is that they generally seem to tag ab-work to the end of the session, this means that most people tend to treat it as a cool down.
This is a great fat burning workout that puts ABS first. Treat this as a circuit and work up to 3 full rotations.
Crunch 15-20 reps
Reverse crunch 15-20 reps
Toe touch 15-20 reps
Elbow to knee crunch 15-20 reps
Bridge/Plank 1 minute
Skipping 1 min
Alternating lunge 1 min
Jog on spot 1 min
Press up 1 min
Star jumps 1 min
Squats 1 min
Skipping 1 min
Back extension 1 min
Then go back to the abs and do another circuit, you can do up to 3 circuits to get in great shape.
